Subcommittee rakes in big bucks from telecoms

The House subcommittee that oversees the communications industry recently passed a measure that would kill anti-discrimination rules for the Internet. The nation’s top broadband and wireless companies have given nearly $1.3 million to members since 2009, including more than $50,000 in 2011 to members who supported the measure.
